Steven.... You are a true inspiration for progressive lawyers around the world, and have definitely been one for me. I have extensive experience in Latin America, and my focus in law school was the challenge of holding multinational companies to account for the environmental or human rights malfeasance they commit with impunity around the world. This is the struggle I have decided to devote my heart, mind and soul to. If I can contribute to this cause during my life, I will have fulfilled my ethical duty as a father and as a human being. I would be honored to collaborate with you in any way I can. The good fight has just begun.
I'm thankful to Marianne Williamson for letting us know that your unwarranted house arrest has finally come to an end. Many of us have discovered over the course of the pandemic (and those more savvy beforehand) that most major media companies like the NYT are not to be fully trusted as you point out. Of course if the news happens to align with their corporate sponsors and political donors then they will write the truth. It would be interesting to hear your take on the state of our democracy - for example is it now a corporatocracy?
